CM pays tribute to SHO martyred in Sargodha

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said that making the province completely peaceful and crime-free is among her top priorities, reaffirming the government's resolve to protect the lives and property of citizens and eliminate criminal elements.

In a statement, the chief minister expressed grief over the martyrdom of SHO Amir Rizwan during a police encounter in Sargodha. She offered condolences and sympathy to the bereaved family.

CM Maryam Nawaz said those who lay down their lives for the protection of the public deserved the highest praise, adding that the martyrs of the police and other security institutions were a source of pride for the nation. She reiterated the government's commitment to fully supporting law enforcement agencies in maintaining peace and ensuring public safety across the province.

In another statement, the chief minister paid tribute to the security forces for eliminating 13 terrorists in Bannu and Kurram.
