The Ministry of National Heritage and Culture organised a soulful Qawwali Night on Wednesday evening at the PNCA Auditorium, Islamabad, where renowned Mustafa Abu Muhammad Qawwal & Brothers enthralled the audience with a heartwarming performance.
The presentation of classical Sufi poetry alongside traditional Qawwalis filled the atmosphere with spirituality, love and cultural dignity, making the night a memorable one for the large number of music lovers, students and artists in attendance.
The audience's loud continuous applause was clear evidence that the Qawwali deeply touched their hearts. Qawwali enthusiasts appreciated the exceptional artistic skills of the artists. The programme played a significant part in highlighting the glorious heritage of Pakistan's Sufi music and promoting national cultural identity.
PNCA Director General Muhammad Ayub Jamali appreciated the excellent performance of the Qawwal group and said that such gatherings not only serve as a source of spiritual growth but also play an important role in transmitting our cultural tradition to the new generation. He reiterated the commitment that PNCA will continue to promote the art and heritage of Pakistan through high-quality cultural and musical programmes in the future as well.
