B-TEVTA to facilitate jobs for youth abroad
.

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has reaffirmed his government's commitment to equipping youth with market-relevant skills and providing them with dignified employment opportunities, describing youth empowerment as a cornerstone of the province's development strategy.
The Chief Minister chaired a review meeting to assess the progress of the Chief Minister Youth Skills Development Programme, focusing on implementation pace, current challenges and future strategy.
During the briefing, it was noted that some private firms tasked with implementing the programme were showing slow progress. Expressing strong displeasure, Bugti ordered immediate action against the concerned firms and a comprehensive audit of funds already disbursed.
He made it clear that negligence or delays in projects linked to the future of youth will not be tolerated.
The meeting was informed that under a Government-to-Government (G2G) model, B-TEVTA has formally applied for a licence as an Overseas Employment Promoter. Once approved, B-TEVTA will directly engage with embassies of relevant countries to facilitate international employment opportunities for Balochistan's youth.
Addressing the meeting, the chief minister said that providing international employment opportunities would not only help young people improve their own and their families' economic conditions but would also contribute valuable foreign exchange to the country.
He emphasized the need to align training modules with modern market demands, accelerate implementation, and ensure tangible outcomes.
