Sindh's geographical integrity, resources under threat: JSM
Sindhi Association of North America calls GM Syed's philosophy 'guiding light'

The President of Sindhi Association of North America (SANA) Dr Maqbool Halepoto has said they consider the politics and philosophy of iconic nationalist leader late G M Syed as their guiding light. Speaking at a reception hosted by Jeay Sindh Mahaz's Chairman in Hyderabad on Sunday, he recalled that SANA started its journey 41 years ago with only 13 members.
He felt pleased to share that as of today the association has become the leading platform of Sindhis on the global stage. "We have turned this platform in a worldwide organization of Sindhis." Halepoto said the association will keep struggling for Sindh's rights, resources and integrity.
The JSM's leader Chandio deplored that since the country's independence the people of Sindh have suffered one or other injustice from the center. He claimed that successive constitutional amendments have deprived Sindhis of their rights.
He contended that presently on one hand threats are being created for the province's geographical integrity and on the other Sindh's resources are being plundered with impunity. Chandio encouraged SANA to play a more active part to seek solutions for the myriads of problems plaguing Sindh.
Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz's leader Dr Niaz Kalani requested SANA to raise the province's issues on the international level. Jeay Sindh Qaumi Party's leader Nawaz Khan Zaunr emphasized on taking up the issue of Sindh's right on the Indus River globally.
