Trump had commented on the incident after video footage circulated online showing Good being shot while inside her car in Minneapolis. In his message, the president wrote that “the woman driving the car was very disorderly, obstructing and resisting, who then violently, willfully, and viciously ran over the ICE Officer, who seems to have shot her in self defense.”
“The situation is being studied, in its entirety, but the reason these incidents are happening is because the Radical Left is threatening, assaulting, and targeting our Law Enforcement Officers and ICE Agents on a daily basis,” Trump stated. “They are just trying to do the job of MAKING AMERICA SAFE.” He also said the ICE officer involved was “recovering in the hospital,” without directly addressing Good’s death.
Keery’s comments quickly spread across social media platforms, particularly X, where fans shared screenshots of his post and praised him for speaking out. “Joe Keery speaking against trump, okay lets go,” one user wrote, while another said: “Big Steve MFN Harrington on the right side of history,” referencing Keery’s character in the Netflix series.
