Drake ‘ICEMAN’ album release date revealed by Twitch streamer Kishka after viral ice installation
Fans were seen using pickaxes, sledgehammers, and fire to get to the base of the structure to know the release date

The release date for Drake’s forthcoming album ICEMAN has been confirmed following a widely shared reveal event involving a viral installation in Toronto.
The announcement came hours after speculation surrounding a large ice structure placed in the city, which drew fans attempting to uncover hidden details about the album.
On Tuesday, streamer Kishka chiselled into the melting installation, retrieved a concealed bag, and later revealed the date during a livestream from outside Drake’s residence.
ICEMAN will mark Drake’s ninth solo studio album and his first full-length release since For All the Dogs in 2023.
The project has been promoted over several months through unconventional marketing tactics, including a recent stunt in which Drake appeared to “freeze” his courtside seating area during an NBA game between the Toronto Raptors and the Brooklyn Nets.

The campaign has generated sustained online engagement, with fans closely following developments leading up to the official announcement.
In the build-up to the album, Drake has released several singles, including “Dog House”, “Which One” featuring Central Cee, and “What Did I Miss”. It remains unclear whether these tracks will appear on the final album tracklist.
ICEMAN is set to be released on May 15.
