O’Dwyer was one of Ireland’s most accomplished strength athletes, earning the title of Ireland’s Strongest Man a record five times. His career highlights also included winning the 2018 UK’s Strongest Man competition and representing Ireland at the World’s Strongest Man contest on three occasions. Born and raised on a farm in Rathkeale, County Limerick, O’Dwyer often spoke openly about his personal transformation.
