Christian Pulisic responds to Sydney Sweeney dating rumours after online speculation
The AC Milan winger addressed social media claims linking him to the actor, calling the reports inaccurate

Christian Pulisic has publicly addressed online speculation linking him to actor Sydney Sweeney, dismissing reports that suggested a romantic relationship between the two.
The dating rumours circulated over the weekend after Italian gossip accounts claimed the AC Milan winger had been linked to the Euphoria star.
The claims gained traction across social media platforms, coinciding with continued public interest in Sweeney’s personal life following her split earlier this year.
Pulisic responded directly to the speculation on Sunday via an Instagram Story. Posting alongside a photograph from a recent match, the USA Men’s National Team captain wrote, “Also please stop with the made up stories about my personal life. Need to hold sources accountable it can affect people’s lives.” The message was shared on December 28, 2025, and was quickly reposted by fan accounts.
The footballer’s statement marked the first direct response from either party regarding the rumours. While the online chatter focused on Sweeney and Pulisic, neither had previously commented on the claims. Pulisic’s message did not reference any other aspects of his private life.
In recent weeks, separate reports from major outlets have linked Pulisic to professional golfer Alexa Melton. At the same time, Sweeney has been photographed on multiple occasions with music executive Scooter Braun during the autumn. Neither of those reports was mentioned in Pulisic’s post.
For now, Pulisic’s comments clearly reject the dating claims. His statement calls for accountability from sources sharing such stories and notes the potential impact of unverified reporting. Neither Sweeney nor her representatives have commented publicly on the matter.
