Concerns over drugs, corruption in open court

Assistant to the Sindh Provincial Ombudsman Syed Ali Mumtaz Zaidi held an open court at the Circuit House in Makli to address public complaints and local issues. A large number of citizens participated.
During the open court, citizens raised complaints regarding the open sale and consumption of gutka, mawa, and other drugs, corruption in government departments, encroachments on graveyards, illegal installation of CNG cylinders in public transport, and issues related to health and education. Syed Ali Mumtaz Zaidi carefully listened to all grievances and issued immediate orders to relevant officials for resolution.
Speaking at the event, Zaidi emphasised that the use of gutka, mawa, and other drugs is a serious social issue that requires concrete measures.
