BADIN:

A local tailor narrowly survived a brutal attack by an allegedly intoxicated armed youth, reportedly the son of an influential person. The victim, identified as Shahbaz Malah, was thrown into a deep, filthy drain but was rescued by residents before he could drown.

According to reports, the incident occurred at Shahbaz Malah's shop on Bhudoro Road over a dispute concerning sewing payments with a young man named Shoaib Memon. Shahbaz Malah stated that after a heated exchange, Shoaib Memon, reportedly intoxicated, arrived at the shop with three armed men on motorcycles. The attackers allegedly assaulted Shahbaz and forcibly threw him into a roughly 10-foot-deep drain beside the road before fleeing the scene.

Local residents acted promptly, pulling the injured tailor out of the drain and preventing a fatality, though he sustained serious injuries. The Badin Model Police have registered an initial report against Shoaib, son of Ghulam Rasool Memon, and three unidentified individuals, launching further investigation. However, no arrests have yet been reported.
