Four terrorists killed in Kalat IBO: ISPR

Security forces on Sunday eliminated four terrorists belonging to an India sponsored terrorist outfit during an intelligence based operation (IBO) in Kalat district of restive Balochistan.
According to a statement issued by the military’s media wing — the Inter-Services Public Relations, forces came into action on the reported presence of terrorists of the Fitna al-Hindustan (FaH).
“During the conduct of the operation, forces effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, and after an intense exchange of fire, four Indian sponsored terrorists were sent to hell. “Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area,” it said.
According to the statement, forces later conducted a sanitization operation to eliminate any other terrorists holed up in the area.
It said security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country vision the Azm-e-Istehkam as approved by Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan.
Following the operation President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif as well as Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi commended the security forces.
In his statement, President Zardari appreciated the professional performance of the forces in effectively targeting the terrorist hideouts and eliminating four Indian-sponsored terrorists.
“The war against terrorism perpetrated through external interference will continue,” he added.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also paid tribute to the security forces stating that the entire nation stood with Pakistan’s armed forces in this war against terrorism. “We are determined to rid the country of all forms of terrorism,” he said.
