Alleged child molester held

Sundar police arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting a six-year-old girl at her home, according to an FIR.

The suspect Abdul Rauf, resident of Jaranwala, allegedly entered the victim's home in Bahria Town while the child's father was away. The suspect reportedly worked occasionally at the family's home.

According to the FIR registered under Section 377B of the Pakistan Penal Code at Sundar police station, the incident occurred on Wednesday evening. The father returned after midnight and found his the victim crying. When questioned by her parents, the girl revealed that an "uncle" had come to the house, touched her inappropriately, and committed indecent acts with her. She identified the perpetrator as Abdul Rauf, who had visited after a domestic help left.

The Police sources said a raid was conducted, leading to the arrest of the suspect.
