.

Following the exhumation of a married woman who died under mysterious circumstances in the RA Bazar police jurisdiction, samples collected during the post-mortem have been sent to the Forensic Science Agency for analysis.
According to details, the deceased, identified as Irum Shaheen, was married to Ayaz, a university employee, and the couple had a 16-year-old son. After her death some time ago, Irum was buried in the Rawat area. Following the burial, her son began living with his maternal aunt, who also resides in the same house.
After some time, the deceased's sister, Najma, submitted an application to RA Bazar police, expressing suspicion that Irum had been poisoned by her husband, leading to her death. Police officials said that during the investigation, the deceased's 16-year-old son also informed the police about ongoing disputes between his parents.
The son's statement under Section 164 was recorded, in which he levelled allegations against his father. Subsequently, the police approached the court for permission to exhume the body. Acting on court orders, the grave was exhumed in the Rawat area.
Police said samples were collected during the exhumation and sent for forensic analysis. Further action will be taken after the forensic report clarifies the cause of death.
