PESHAWAR:

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa finance adviser Muzammil Aslam on Tuesday slammed the privatisation of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), saying the national carrier, once a symbol of pride for the nation, had been reduced to a default institution due to years of political mismanagement and indecision.

He said PIA's decline was the result of political interference, including recruitments under the Pakistan Peoples Party and policy paralysis under the PML-N.
