Short Circuit: Institute of Cardiology’s power disconnected

FAISALABAD:

The electricity supply of the Faisalabad Institute of Cardiology stopped on Thursday after an electric short circuit in its coronary care unit II.

The ward was closed on emergency basis. The hospital administration is temporarily generating electricity through power generators. A staff member of the hospital, who wished not to be named, said that the short circuit was caused by substandard electric wiring. The Faisalabad commissioner on Thursday formed an inquiry committee to probe the matter.
