Three 'robbers' held in Tarnol encounter

Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police on Friday claimed to have arrested three armed members of the notorious inter-provincial robbers' gang, including its ringleader, following an exchange of fire within the jurisdiction of Tarnol Police Station.

A police team kicked off an operation after receiving intelligence regarding the gang's presence in the area. Upon noticing the police, the suspects opened indiscriminate fire on the raiding team.

During the exchange of fire, the Nedo gang's ringleader, Naveed Zafar, sustained injuries from shots fired by his own accomplices and was apprehended in an injured condition.
