Health Dept cancels staff leaves

The District Health Authority has cancelled all types of leave for health department employees with immediate effect and ordered those currently on leave to report back to duty at once.

A warning has been issued that strict action will be taken against any employee who fails to comply, including possible termination under the PEEDA Act. A formal notification regarding the cancellation of leave has been issued.
