Police counsel, reunite family

LAHORE:

Police at the Mayo Hospital outpost reunited a mother with her one-month-old infant.

According to the police, the child's father had taken him to Sialkot after a disagreement with his wife who had come to Lahore for medical treatment.

The mother approached the police outpost for assistance. Police officials said they summoned both families to the outpost.

Through reconciliation, the matter was resolved amicably and the infant was reunited with his mother.

The husband and his family were counselled. City SP Bilal Ahmed commended the in-charge of the Mayo Hospital outpost and the police team for their timely response and humane handling of the case.
