Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said on Friday that the PTI must "give up its negative politics" as the party no longer had former ISI chief Faiz Hameed "to rely on".
Speaking at a news conference in Islamabad, he termed the conviction of the ex-spymaster a "historic decision" that reaffirmed that "the law is equal for everyone".
Dr Chaudhry said Faiz Hameed had "used his office based on personal likes and dislikes" and interfered in political processes. "In the name of national interest, Faiz Hameed toppled and installed governments," he claimed.
