Two injured in firing outside DG Khan court
Weapons were seized from their possession

Two men were injured on Wednesday after gunmen opened fire outside the District Courts at Kutchery Chowk within the jurisdiction of Civil Lines Police Station. Police arrested both suspects at the scene and recovered weapons used in the attack.
According to initial information, the victims, Sajjad and Abu Bakar, residents of Shadan Lund, had arrived at the courts for a hearing when they were targeted outside the premises. Both sustained serious injuries and were shifted immediately to the Trauma Centre at Allama Iqbal Teaching Hospital.
The incident triggered panic within the District Courts complex, prompting a swift response from Civil Lines Police.
Officers reached the scene within minutes and apprehended the two suspects, identified as Khursheed and Hanzala.
Weapons were seized from their possession.
DPO Dera Ghazi Khan Sadiq Hussain Baloch also arrived at the location shortly after the incident. He inspected the crime scene and praised the police for their timely action.
The DPO ordered strict security measures across all sensitive locations, including enhanced checking at Kutchery Chowk, deployment of additional personnel, and stricter monitoring of entry and exit points to prevent similar incidents.
Police said further investigation is underway.
