PTI body to review party constitution

ISLAMABAD:

The PTI has decided to begin preparations for holding intra-party elections at the earliest.

Following instructions from PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja, a key committee has been formed to conduct a comprehensive review of the party's constitution.

The committee has been tasked with identifying and addressing all shortcomings in the constitution and aligning it with the comparative standards of other political parties. An official notification has also been issued in this regard.

The notification said necessary amendments to the constitution are considered essential to avoid potential objections from the ECP.
