Sindh secures $10m IFFEd grant to speed up education reforms

KARACHI:

Sindh has secured a $10 million grant from the International Finance Facility for Education (IFFEd) during the Regional Education Forum held in Manila, Philippines.

The Sindh delegation, led by Minister for Education Syed Sardar Ali Shah, participated in the forum hosted at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) headquarters. The grant is expected to give a substantial boost to ongoing reforms aimed at improving governance, efficiency, and service delivery across Sindh's education system.

During a bilateral meeting with senior IFFEd leadership, including Founding CEO Karthik Krishnan, Head of Operations Nina Stochniol, and representatives from the ADB - the provincial minister presented a comprehensive overview of Sindh's education priorities and long-term reform roadmap.
