A motorcycle snatched at gunpoint four months ago has been recovered — not from the suspects, but from inside the premises of Police Station Saddar Patoki, sparking public outrage and serious questions about police credibility.
The incident took place on August 8 on New Hussain Khan Wala Road, where three armed robbers intercepted former UC-74 chairman Muhammad Yaseen and snatched his motorcycle, mobile phone, and cash before fleeing. Police had registered a case against unidentified suspects, but no progress was made for months.
According to the complainant, the stolen motorcycle was spotted just a few days ago standing inside the police station. Yaseen immediately identified it and informed the Station House Officer (SHO), who reportedly expressed complete ignorance about how the vehicle ended up there.
