A state-of-the-art public park for families in rural parts of Rawalpindi district has been launched in Adiala, with an estimated cost of Rs450 million. The project will be executed by the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA).
According to Director General Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, the park will include modern sport facilities lities such as jogging and cycling tracks, an open-air gym, a mini-golf area, an indoor games hall, cricket and football zones, tennis courts, an ATV track and a skating rink. A beautiful water pond is also under construction.
He said the aim of establishing this state-of-the-art park in the rural belt is to provide families a chance to enjoy fresh, open spaces close to their homes.
The park will feature a designated children's play area, an attractive café, a zipline and paintball activities.
According to the DG, all available resources are being utilised to provide quality recreational facilities to the public. Once completed, the park will offer healthy entertainment opportunities for local residents and open a new chapter of modern recreation in Rawalpindi.
A grand fair will be organised at the park's inauguration, featuring both traditional local foods and a modern food street.
