Centre, Sindh to resolve Jinnah hospital issues

KARACHI:

Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal met Sindh Health Minister Dr Azra Pechuho along with his team. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding the staff working at Jinnah Hospital as well as the longstanding and complex issues between the federal and provincial health ministries.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment that the federal and provincial governments will resolve these matters peacefully and constructively through mutual understanding and full cooperation. The two ministers agreed that the problems faced by the hospital employees will be given priority, and a joint strategy will be developed to improve the administrative affairs of the health ministry. Mustafa Kamal assured Azra Pechuho that the federal government will utilise all its available resources, capabilities, and efforts to ensure stability in the health sector.
