Viral Instagram dog Bella dies after sudden medical emergency

Bella, the beloved dachshund known for her trademark snaggletooth grin, has passed away following a sudden medical emergency, her owner announced on December 5, 2025.

The senior dog was the standout member of the popular Instagram trio Buddy, Bella & Birdie, where her playful personality and expressive smile won the hearts of thousands of followers.

In a heartfelt message, Bella’s owner described the dog as “my soul dog,” recalling how their bond began years ago after Bella joined the family following the passing of her previous owner.

Bella reportedly became ill during the night, prompting an urgent visit to the veterinarian. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, she could not be saved.

“We did everything we could at the ER vet, but you were too far gone,” the owner shared.

The owner also thanked fans for their years of support, noting how Bella had inspired many to adopt pets or simply brightened their days.

“This grief for her loss feels all-consuming, but it helps to know you all are grieving her with me,” they wrote.
