Commissioner Inland Revenue honoured

The Non-Gazetted Welfare Association of the Inland Revenue Department on Wednesday organized a special ceremony to honour Commissioner Inland Revenue (South Zone) Syed Anser Ali for his distinguished service and contributions to the department.

The event was attended by officers, staff members and representatives of the Association who commended Commissioner Ali for his role in strengthening departmental performance, enhancing revenue growth, and promoting staff welfare.

Speakers highlighted his pivotal leadership in improving the AJK Point of Sale (POS) Invoicing System. Under his guidance, they noted the system became more transparent, efficient and widely regarded as a model for other regions. His proactive approach significantly boosted compliance levels and helped the department meet its revenue targets.
