A man was found dead near Manghopir Degree College, prompting police to launch an investigation into what appears to be a suspected murder.
Police summoned the Crime Scene Unit to collect evidence.
The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities.
According to Manghopir SHO Zubair Nawaz, the deceased was identified as 45-year-old Muhammad Saleem, son of Abdul Aziz.
He had been living in a rented house in Moon City Housing Society.
