KARACHI:

Strong, cold winds blowing across the city on Wednesday have brought a noticeable drop in temperatures.

According to the Meteorological Department, the winds, originating from northeastern Balochistan, reached speeds of up to 25 kilometers per hour. The Early Warning Centre forecast a further 1-2°C drop in the city's temperature due to the cold gusts. On Wednesday, Karachi recorded a minimum temperature of 12.5°C and a maximum of 28.4°C. Rural Sindh saw even lower temperatures, with Mohenjo-Daro recording a minimum of 3.8°C.
