'Mastung gas issue to be resolved'

On special directive of SSGC Balochistan, GM Raheel Malik and Chief Engineer Imran Sahib, Haji Naseer Lehri, in-charge of Samungli Zone, along with his team visited Mastung Zonal Office SSGC.

He was received by Zonal Manager Sher Ahmed Baloch. Abdullah Durrani and Meter Inspector Agha Riazuddin were also included in the team.

On this occasion, Manager Mastung gave a detailed briefing to the delegation regarding overbilling, reduction in gas pressure and other public issues.

Haji Naseer listened to all the issues and said that he would fully inform Chief Engineer Imran about the situation after reaching Quetta.

He assured that solving the problems of the people of Mastung is among priorities, especially steps would be taken to immediately resolve the issue of reduction in gas pressure and overbilling.

Haji Naseer said that every effort has been made to reduce the problems being faced by the consumers and provide better service, in which gas load shedding has been reduced to 12 midnight.

He said that "Mastung consumers have several gas-related issues, which would be resolved on a priority basis as per the clear instructions of the management and higher authorities, our efforts are to ensure uninterrupted supply of gas to consumers during the cold season, so that the public would not face any kind of problem."
