PTI boycotts PS-9 Shikarpur by-polls over alleged rigging
Halim blasts PPP over child's death in manhole

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced a complete boycott of the PS-9 Shikarpur by-election and other upcoming by-polls, citing widespread rigging and a lack of a level playing field.
The seat fell vacant on the demise of PPP stalwart Agha Siraj Durrani.
PTI Sindh President, Halim Adil Sheikh, made the boycott announcement while addressing a press conference at the Karachi Press Club on Monday.
He was accompanied by PTI Sindh General Secretary Dr Masroor Siyal, PS-9 Shikarpur candidate Agha Imtiaz, Agha Arslan, MPA Rehan Bandukda, Mohammad Ali Baloch, Moazzam Khan, Farooq Korai, Bathar Ali Khan, and other leaders.
Sheikh sharply criticised the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) government in Sindh over the tragic death of a three-year-old boy, Ibrahim, who fell into an open manhole in Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
"The parents had gone out shopping, but the incompetence of the People's Party resulted in a gutter annihilating yet another life," he stated.
