SABS varsity displays graduates' creativity
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle' art exhibition highlights innovation and entrepreneurship

A ceremony to see off the graduating students of Shaheed Allah Buksh Soomro (SABS) University of Art, Design and Heritages, Jamshoro, on Monday featured an exhibition of artworks themed "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle." Around 120 graduates from the departments of Fine Art, Textile Design, Communication Design, and Architecture and Planning displayed their creative projects, reflecting innovative concepts and sustainable ideas.
Commissioner Hyderabad Fayaz Hussain Abbasi praised the exhibition, saying, "this is not just an academic milestone; it is a window into the talent and innovation of our youth." He highlighted that collaborations with textile firms, advertising agencies, construction companies, art galleries, and other creative sectors offered students real-world exposure, internships, and employment opportunities.
Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Arabella Bhutto noted that SABS University has expanded research output, strengthened faculty, upgraded studios and labs, and introduced new academic initiatives aligned with global standards. She emphasized entrepreneurship, adding that many graduates now run their own studios.
