Protest in Badin against open sale of narcotics
.

The Laar Sajag Tehreek staged a protest outside the Badin Press Club against the rising drug trade in the district, demanding immediate action against influential dealers.
The demonstration was led by political, social, and business figures including Khalifa Tariq Memon, Syed Zain Shah, Shujaat Khawaja, Kashif Qamrani, and Yaseen Khatti. Addressing the rally, speakers warned that the open sale of gutka, ice, hashish, illegally brewed liquor and other dangerous narcotics has pushed the youth to the brink of destruction.
They alleged that political patronage has allowed drug dealers to thrive, resulting in widespread illness, crime, and social decay. Protest leaders said the unchecked use and sale of narcotics has led to a rise in cancer and other serious diseases, while streets, markets, and neighborhoods across the district have become unsafe.
