Sleuths say TikToker Iman was allegedly abused at birthday gathering

Five key suspects in the torture case of TikToker Iman, who was allegedly mistreated within the jurisdictions of the Naseerabad and Lohi Bher police stations a couple of days ago, are still absconding.

According to investigators, the victim was purportedly abused by Nazar Khan — also known as Arman Khan — and others after she remarked during a birthday gathering that, despite being married, he was allegedly involved with another woman.

His wife, who was present at the event, overheard the comment, reportedly sparking tension between the couple and prompting Nazar Khan and his associates to subject the victim to abuse.

All four principal suspects named in the FIR —  including Nazar Khan — and the women allegedly involved remain at large, with reports indicating that one of the accused has absconded to Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

Investigation SSP Dr Tanveer Supra has constituted four specialised teams to apprehend the suspects. Islamabad Police have also handed over three individuals currently in custody, from whom further interrogation is ongoing. Authorities have additionally sought mobile-phone data belonging to the suspects.

Under the supervision of the Investigation SPP, the inquiry team is questioning three detained individuals Faisal, Nauman, the brother of Arman, and Sher Dil, said to be the father of the nominated suspect Jaleel Khan.

Meanwhile, police are conducting raids at multiple locations to arrest the four main suspects named in the FIR: Nazar Khan alias Arman Khan, Anis Khan alias Durrani, Jaleel alias Mithu, Jabar Khan, and a woman identified as Sana, believed to be Arman's wife.

Sources said that one of the primary suspects, Anis alias Durrani, has fled to K-P. Police have also requested call records and other mobile phone data of the remaining suspects.

According to the victim's statement and preliminary findings, the incident originated during a birthday gathering. TikToker Iman was reportedly invited to a flat in Christian Colony, Dhoke Khabba, by Sana and Sonia, who were said to be acquainted with her and aware of her growing online profile.

Several other women and the accused men were also present. During the gathering, the victim allegedly commented that Nazar Khan alias Arman 1 who appears in a video cutting her hair — was involved with another woman. Arman's wife overheard this, leading to tension between the pair. This confrontation is believed to have prompted Nazar Khan and others to mistreat the victim.

She was initially assaulted at the flat before being taken to another location — a spa or apartment within a private housing society in the Lohi Bher area — where she was allegedly threatened at gunpoint and filmed. Sources further alleged that she was coerced into visiting another spa in Islamabad.
