Imran’s May 9 cases fixed for hearing

Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice Aalia Neelum on Monday fixed for hearing a petition seeking a single trial for the incarcerated PTI founding chairman Imran Khan in the May 9 cases, after restoring the main petition.
During the proceedings, Advocate Latif Khosa complained that the court office was deliberately excluding his name from the cause list, to which the chief justice responded sharply, observing that lawyers frequently spread incorrect reports about the court in the media.
The court noted that the case had been called earlier, but no lawyer appeared, yet a claim was later made outside the courtroom that the matter had been fixed without notice.
