Cops to get discounted health services
Agreement offers concessions on pathology, radiology and cardiac tests

The Regional Police Office (RPO) Rawalpindi has signed an agreement with a private laboratory for health services. According to sources, an MoU was signed between RPO Rawalpindi Region and Nayab Labs & Diagnostic Centre, Islamabad, to provide quality, fast and discounted medical facilities to police officers, officials and their families. Rawalpindi RPO Babar Sarfraz Alpa, Nayab Labs CEO Dr Nawab Zaheeruddin Sheikh, ADIG Malik Naeem, Welfare Branch in-charge and other relevant officers were present at the ceremony.
Under the MoU, police employees and their families will receive a 40 per cent discount on all pathology tests, while the families of police martyrs will get a 45 per cent discount.
Radiology services will offer a 30 per cent discount on CT scans, and 25 per cent on ultrasounds and X-rays. Cardiac servicesincluding ECG, ETT, Echo and PFTwill also carry a 25 per cent discount. Nayab Labs will also conduct health awareness programmes and medical camps in designated RPO office areas to promote health awareness among police personnel.
All lab reports will be available to police employees through an online mobile application and web portal.
RPO Babar Sarfraz Alpa said the welfare of the police force is a top priority, and the agreement will help ensure timely and quality medical services for staff and their families.
