Leh feasibility sent to PDWP
.

The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has forwarded a case to the Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) seeking an increase in the feasibility study cost for the Nullah Leh project from Rs40 million to Rs200 million.
According to details, the initial Rs40 million allocation did not attract any company during the tendering process, as firms termed the amount insufficient for a project of this scale.
RDA has therefore requested PDWP approval to raise the funds to Rs200m.
The RDA DG said Nullah Leh is of exceptional importance, as the project simultaneously addresses sewerage transfer, an open flood channel and an alternative traffic route.
