Alhamra to host three-day Sufi festival
The Lahore Arts Council (Alhamra) has announced the inaugural "Alhamra Sufi Festival 2025," a three-day cultural celebration set to take place from November 28 to 30, aimed at promoting the spiritual, literary, and artistic heritage of Sufism. Designed as a transformative cultural experience, the festival reflects Alhamra's commitment to fostering harmony, reflection, and creative expression rooted in South Asian mystic traditions. The festival will open with a calligraphy exhibition titled "Whirling Lines of Sufi Wisdom," featuring visual interpretations of Sufi philosophy.
Day One will include a thought-provoking session titled "Youth, Intellectual Challenges, and Wasif Ali Wasif," exploring the spiritual scholar's legacy.
The day will conclude with Ajnta Theatre's acclaimed stage play "Maqsood-e-Kull Main Hoon!"
