Police thwart intrusion attempt

Prompt action by police thwarted an attempted armed incursion in the Saifli Dargah area, located along the border of Kakki and Howaid police jurisdictions, near Sheikh Lundak.

According to reports, unknown armed individuals tried to enter from the Sheikh Lundak side, prompting immediate intervention. Under the directives of Bannu DIG Sajjad Khan, SHO Kakki Saeed Khan, accompanied by police personnel, swiftly reached the scene and launched a search operation.

Local communities from Kakki and Sheikh Lundak actively cooperated with the authorities, strengthening the effectiveness of the joint effort and enhancing security in the area. Police have increased checks on all entry and exit routes, maintaining close surveillance on any suspicious movements.
