Two people were killed in a clash over a property dispute in the Usman Ganj area of Missri Shah.
According to officials, an altercation erupted between the groups of Abdul Rehman and Fayaz over the possession of a piece of land.
The confrontation escalated when members of the Fayaz group allegedly threw stones, fatally injuring Abdul Rehman. Police said Abdul Rehman's security guards opened fire, leaving Fayaz and another man critically wounded. Both were rushed to a hospital, where Fayaz succumbed to his injuries. Following the incident, Missri Shah police.arrested two men.allegedly involved in the shooting.
Meanwhile, a 47-year-old man was killed with a sharp-edged weapon in the Bhasin area of Batapur. The assailants managed to flee after murdering the victim Aslam. Emergency responders shifted the body to a morgue for post-mortem examination.
