CM praises nation's diplomatic, defence standing

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said that after the success of Operation "Bunyan-um-Marsus", Pakistan is proud of its defence and diplomatic standing in the world.
Briefing a delegation of the 27th National Security Workshop of National Defence University about her government's public welfare initiatives, she said problems are faced due to unfair distribution of resources and performance of the public sector becomes zero due to lack of accountability.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said she thinks that creating more provinces will further divide the country.
She said the effects of.this year's floods were being faced.
She said smog gun spray, control over burning of crop residues and other measures have reduced the impact of smog.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said no good work can be done if there is a fear of not getting votes. She said people were also angry when encroachments were razed. She said, "Merit cannot be violated in Punjab, no recruitment has been made on political grounds."
The chief minister said she had faced criticism for not buying wheat, but Punjab is the only province where prices of bread, flour and wheat have not increased.
She said it was not her habit to blame the bureaucracy or others for failures.
She said,"Even if we have to give free land to increase investment, we will give it."
She said she had been put in jail for standing with my father. She said,"Our opponents know that if we are not brought down, they will not have a place in Pakistan and the hearts of the people of Pakistan."
