The federal government has decided to convene sessions of both the National Assembly and the Senate next week, with key legislation expected to be tabled as part of a coordinated parliamentary push, sources said on Friday.
The two houses of parliament are likely to meet on November 27, with officials considering the option of summoning both sessions simultaneously to streamline the legislative agenda.
Sources said the upcoming sittings of the National Assembly and Senate will focus on "important legislation".
