The Tehreek-e-Numaindagi-e-Awam Karachi staged a protest outside the Karachi Press Club on Friday against the 27th Constitutional Amendment.
Human rights activists, students, lawyers, teachers and members of civil society joined the demonstration, demanding the amendment's rejection and restoration of genuine public representation.
Speakers declared that the current parliament has lost its legal and moral legitimacy and no longer represents the people.
