Murder case filed eight months after poisoning death

Police have registered a murder case and launched a search for the suspects in connection with the death of a young man who allegedly died after consuming a poisonous substance eight months ago.
According to the FIR lodged by Abdul Sattar, a resident of Chak 220 RB, Jhang Road, his son Muhammad Usman did not return home on Eid day, March 31, 2025. Worried, he repeatedly tried calling his son, but the phone was switched off. He then went out to search for him.
Abdul Sattar stated that he found his son's body lying inside the haveli of the accused, Akbar Ali Bhatti.
