According to reports, the pop star was escorted by a staff member before walking to her car, and she later drove off alone, prompting fears of erratic behaviour. 

Photos and video from the outing show Spears looking visibly dishevelled, with untamed hair and a puffy face. Her team insists she was not drinking alcohol, but the images have stirred unease among both insiders and her family. One source described the situation as “very distressing,” adding that loved ones fear she may be putting herself in danger. 

This isn’t the first time Spears has raised eyebrows recently. In a separate incident just weeks earlier, she was reported to have driven erratically after leaving a restaurant, swerving across lanes and allegedly making dangerous manoeuvres behind the wheel. Family members are said to be “terrified,” with some insiders comparing her current behaviour to the troubled period before her 2007 breakdown. 

Spears pushed back against the photos on social media, calling the paparazzi “incredibly mean” in a video posted on Instagram. She claimed they “always take the worst photos” of her and expressed frustration at being harassed, saying, “I can’t go anywhere.” 

Her outfit during the outing further fueled conversation. Spears attempted a low-key look with sunglasses, a white lace scarf over her head, a brown plaid blazer, a cropped lace top, low‑rise jeans and heels. Witnesses say she carried her belongings to a black BMW, helped by a staffer from the bar, before driving off. 

The timing of this incident is especially troubling to those close to her. Her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, recently released a memoir with bombshell claims, and some believe it has reopened old emotional wounds for Spears, leading to renewed instability.
