Youth shot dead over monetary dispute

A young man was shot dead over a dispute involving an insurance payment. Police took the body into custody and shifted it to a hospital.

According to sources, Zeeshan, a resident of Chak No 161 RB, had an ongoing dispute with Nasir regarding an insurance payment.

Due to the conflict, Zeeshan, along with his accomplices, opened fire on Nasir, critically injuring him. He succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital.

Upon receiving information, police officers reached the spot, sent the body for post-mortem and launched a search for the attackers.

Faisalabad CPO Sahibzada Bilal Umar sought a detailed report from the SP of Madina Town, and formed teams to arrest the suspects. The teams were conducting raids to apprehend them.

Meanwhile, a girl was seriously injured after her brother opened fire on her due to a domestic dispute.

Asad shot and injured his 18-year-old sister Shanza Bibi over a family dispute, and then fled. She was provided urgent medical assistance and moved to a hospital. Jaranwala city police initiated legal action regarding the case.

Meanwhile, the Thikriwala police have solved a two-month-old murder case, arresting the prime suspect and seizing the weapon used in the crime. During interrogation, the arrested suspect confessed to shooting his friend over a minor dispute, according to the police.

The victim, Muhammad Abrar Tayyab, who worked as a lathe machine operator on Gojra Road, had gone to visit his sister in Pensra. After meeting her, he stopped at his brother's shop, from where they planned to return home together.
