The police have restricted teashops to operate only until midnight in Hyderabad.

HYDERABAD:

Authorities have enforced a midnight curfew on wedding halls and roadside tea cafés across Hyderabad to ensure compliance with district regulations.

Assistant Commissioner (City) conducted an operation in the Phuleli area after a wedding hall was found violating the ban. When guests arrived past midnight, the AC, accompanied by police, ordered the hall's lights to be switched off and warned the owners of legal action for non-compliance.

Meanwhile, Assistant Commissioner Qasimabad and the local SHO carried out joint patrols in various parts of Qasimabad. The patrols focused on enforcing rules, particularly the closure of LPG shops, which had been ordered shut. Tea stalls and roadside cafés were also inspected and directed to close after 1 a.m. Wedding halls in the area were similarly instructed to shut down after midnight.

In another operation, Assistant Commissioner Rural Gohar Masroor, along with police, targeted illegal fuel sellers in Tando Hyder, Hosri, Tando Fazal, Tando Alam Mari, and Sari. Eleven shops were sealed and their stock confiscated during the crackdown.
