15 held with drugs

Police arrested 15 suspected criminals during a crackdown across the district on Wednesday.

A spokesman said that the teams of different police stations raided various localities and arrested Khalid, Khaleel, Asghar, Nouman, Naveed, Nasrullah, Muhammad Ashfaq, Muhammad Aslam, Tariq, Waqas, Waleed and others, seizing 2kg of hashish, 2kg of opium, 231 litres of liquor, nine pistols, nine guns and 203 bullets.

Police have registered separate cases.
