Medical colleges deadline extended

LAHORE:

The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has extended the deadline for online applications for admission to medical and dental colleges across Punjab.

According to a spokesperson, candidates seeking admission to public sector medical colleges may submit their applications until November 30, while the deadline for private colleges has been set at December 15.

The decision was made during a meeting of the Provincial Admission Committee, chaired by Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education Secretary Azmat Mahmood.

For public sector dental colleges, the application deadline has been extended till d December 31, whereas candidates applying for the BDS programmes in private colleges will be able to submit their online forms until January 15.

The UHS spokesperson said the previous deadline was November 21.
