Timber smuggling bid foiled

Phalrah Police claimed to have foiled an attempt to smuggle timber worth hundreds of thousands of rupees during a late-night operation in Parheena Bazaar Gali Badral at around 3am.

According to police sources, officers from the Phalrah Police Station were conducting a routine patrol when they received information about a Toyota wagon transporting illegal timber. Acting swiftly, the police set up a checkpoint and intercepted the vehicle.
